This itinerary takes in a number of the national parks in and around the Great Rift Valley, giving the opportunity to observe some of the best wildlife and scenery that Africa has to offer. Lake Nakuru National Park has an incredible variety of birds as well as the endangered rhino, the Serengeti is the largest and most famous national park in Tanzania, and the Ngorongoro Crater, with its blue-green vistas and unparalleled concentration of wildlife, is simply amazing.
What makes this trip responsible?
Most of the tour is spent camping which reduces our energy consumption for the whole trip. We also source all of the food used while camping locally. Furthermore, whilst camping, the leaders ensure that we minimise impact as much as possible by such things as clearing up camping areas after use.
We pay the mandatory park fees which contribute to conservation of the parks and surrounding areas.
