- Discover mediaeval towns
- Raft along the Dunajec River
- Explore a frozen ice cave
Slovakia is a fantastic destination for a week of family fun, with its playground of mountains, rivers, castles, gorges and caves. Uncover the rich folklore in fables linked to Juraj Janosik, Slovakia's answer to Robin Hood, as you hike though dramatic canyons in the Mala Fatra. Later we'll try cheese making, a regional delicacy. As well as exploring the stunning mountains of the High Tatras we'll raft on the Orava River and visit the mystical ever-frozen Dobsinska Ice Cave.
There's sightseeing too in Bratislava, the country's capital, which sits majestically on the mighty Danube.
