This is a moderate walking holiday - this is because of the distance each day rather than the altitude change or the terrain.
There is lots of classic Galician countryside to enjoy, rural paths and hamlets with cafes and restaurants for pilgrims along the route.
Walks on this holiday are on village streets, country lanes, farm tracks and rural paths. Longes days 5-6 hours, ascents up to 700 m(2400) feet. Perhaps some scrambling. You should be use to walking all day, but you don't need to be specially fit or to have head for heights.

Self guided. No minimum group size but luggage transfer is subject to at least 2 people; route notes and maps are provided. Minimum age 12.
If there is only one person booked on a departure in total there will be a compulsory sole traveller supplement of GBP450 (payable in advance) to cover both the walking and point to point luggage transfers as well as the accommodation.

No experience is necessary; those who take weekend hill walks in areas like the Peak District or Cotswold’s at home should manage a B-grade trek; good health and reasonable fitness are important. These Moderately graded departures are either fairly easy medium-duration walks or harder, shorter walks.
