Corsica was more mountainous and greener than expected. A good range of walks. Not too challenging for regular hill walkers and we considered it well pitched as moderate. The hotel is basic but functional and the dinners were very tasty. Enjoyed using trains to get to the start of most of our walks.

Corsica Holidays
Caught between France and Italy, with its own cuisine, culture and language, Corsica is a land of dramatic beauty. With the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean just 40km from the island’s pink granite peaks, Corsica holidays offer a range of terrain in a small and diverse island that’s full of surprises.
Based in the village of Bocognano, the quaint mountain railway gives easy access to some of the Corsica’s best walking routes, covering mountain passes, thermal rockpools and lush meadows, from the central highlands to the sea.
